1. With the state assembly elections just around the corner, Pune residents are gearing up to cast their votes tomorrow.
  2. In a bid to ensure smooth voting process, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic Branch) Amol Zende has issued an order prohibiting vehicle parking within 200 meters of polling booths.
  3. The aim of this order is to prevent traffic congestion and allow easy access for voters to reach their designated polling stations.
  4. Officials have been instructed to make arrangements for alternative parking spaces beyond the 200-meter radius of polling centres.
  5. In areas with limited parking facilities, authorities have emphasized that vehicles should only be parked on one side of the road to avoid blocking traffic flow.
  6. Parking on both sides of the road has been strictly prohibited to ensure that voters can easily access polling stations without any hindrance.
  7. The parking restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, covering the entire duration of the voting process.
  8. These measures are being implemented to facilitate a hassle-free voting experience for Pune residents and ensure that the democratic process runs smoothly.
