Hey Pune folks, have you heard about the drama unfolding at the Pune Collector’s Office? It seems like Dr. Pooja Khedkar, a 2022 batch IAS officer on probation, is causing quite a stir with her questionable behavior.
Dr. Khedkar has been caught using a private Audi car with a VIP number plate and a ‘Government of Maharashtra’ signboard, along with unauthorized red and blue lights. Talk about flaunting your status!
To make matters worse, Dr. Khedkar decided to take over the ante-chamber of a senior officer, setting up her own office complete with her nameplate. Not cool, Dr. Khedkar, not cool.
Pune District Collector Dr Suhas Diwase wasn’t having any of it and submitted a detailed report on Dr. Khedkar’s conduct to the Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department. The report highlights Dr. Khedkar’s demands for special treatment, including an office next to the collector’s, a peon, and the fancy car.
Despite being given a newly refurbished office, Dr. Khedkar still wasn’t satisfied. And to top it off, she even sent a WhatsApp message claiming that it was an insult to her. Talk about entitlement!
Collector Dr. Diwase has had enough and is recommending that Dr. Khedkar be relocated to another district for her training. Looks like Dr. Khedkar’s reign of drama might be coming to an end.
