Manoj Jarange Patil, a resident of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, received some good news today as the Pune District Court canceled the arrest warrant against him. His lawyer explained that his absence at the previous hearing was due to illness, which was supported by medical certificates. Jarange Patil is currently undergoing treatment for kidney disease at a hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and a medical certificate was provided to support this claim.

The case against Jarange Patil had been pending for 10 years due to his absence at court hearings. His lawyer emphasized that Jarange Patil did not intend to show disrespect to the court and requested that the arrest warrant be canceled based on his medical condition. The court advised Jarange Patil to be cautious with his comments, as he had made objectionable statements about the court through the media.

The case against Jarange Patil was filed by Dhananjay Ghorpade from Warje, along with two other individuals. Despite being summoned twice, Jarange Patil failed to appear in court, leading to the issuance of a non-bailable warrant against him and the other two individuals. Jarange Patil complied with the court order and appeared before the First Class Judicial Magistrate of Pune today.

Jarange Patil, speaking to the media before going to court, clarified that he was associated with the play that was performed in Shambhuraj Mahanatyam but denied any involvement in the financial transactions related to the drama. He claimed that the loss incurred from the play was shared among the three individuals involved.

Jarange Patil also accused Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, of framing him in the case. He claimed that he had given money to one of the individuals involved in the play but was not aware if the payment was made to the director. Despite the allegations, Jarange Patil expressed his respect for the court and stated that he was attending the court proceedings as required.
