Pune Division of Central Railway recently celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with a grand event at the Indrayani Auditorium in Pune. The celebration, which took place on March 19, was led by the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rajesh Kumar Verma and included activities at various locations such as Daund, Miraj, and Diesel Loco Shed, Ghorpadi.

The event aimed to recognize and appreciate the contributions of women employees within the railway division. It featured informative sessions on health and wellness by Dr. Devyani Shinde, financial awareness and tax planning by Financial Advisor Prem Tiwari, and legal rights of women in property matters by Advocate Asunta Pardhe.

In addition to the knowledge sessions, there were cultural performances organized by the Pune Division Cultural Academy, showcasing the talents of railway employees. The event was attended by senior officials including Additional Divisional Railway Manager P.U. Jadhav and Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Jitendra Pratap Singh.

The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from women employees across different sections, reflecting a strong engagement and commitment to empowerment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Assistant Personnel Officer Jitendra Singh Meena, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors for their support.
