The upcoming Army Day parade in Pune is set to feature some cutting-edge technology, with a special team of robotic mules taking center stage. These Quadrupedal Unmanned Ground Vehicles, developed by AeroArc Pvt Ltd, will showcase the future of military technology with their tele-operable and autonomous capabilities.

In addition to the robotic mules, the parade will also feature state-of-the-art all-terrain vehicles, specialist mobility vehicles, the Pinaka multiple launcher rocket system, and the Sarvatra Bridging system.

This year’s parade in Pune marks the third time a city other than Delhi will host the event, following successful parades in Bangalore and Lucknow in recent years. The decision to move the parade to Pune is part of the government’s efforts to increase visibility and participation in national events.

The Army Day parade, held annually on January 15, commemorates the appointment of General KM Cariappa as the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army in 1949. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting event!
