The Hindu Garjana Pratishthan Youth Association and Punit Balan Group are teaming up to bring an exciting event to Pune in 2025 – the Hindu Garjana Chashak State-level Women’s and Men’s Wrestling Contests! Scheduled to take place from February 7 to 9, this competition is set to showcase some of the best wrestlers in the state.
Recently, a logo for the tournaments was unveiled by Young Entrepreneur Punit Balan, who expressed his enthusiasm for supporting athletes in the mud-wrestling sport. The competitions are being organized in collaboration with the Shikshan Prasarak Mandali and have received recognition from the Pune Zilha Kustigir Sangh, the district-level wrestlers’ federation.
Punit Balan Group has announced that they will be awarding prizes worth Rs 42 lakh, with one lucky winner set to drive away in a brand new ‘Thar’ SUV. BJP City Unit President and Hindu Garjana Pratishthan President Dheeraj Ghate shared his excitement for the upcoming event, stating that they aim to make it as prestigious as the Maharashtra Kesari contest.
The competitions will be held at SP College on Tilak Road in Pune, and are expected to draw a crowd of sportspersons, artists, social workers, and political dignitaries. It looks like Pune is in for an action-packed weekend of wrestling in 2025!
