Last weekend, the Ichiban Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Organization India hosted a thrilling tournament at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi. With athletes from seven states and ten districts, a total of 975 competitors battled it out in the ring.
The event kicked off with a bang, thanks to the inauguration by Corporator Rahul Dada Kalate and other esteemed guests, including Sarpanch of Hinjewadi Sagar Bhau Sakhare and Ashok Damaryawar from the Maharashtra Olympic Association.
The championship was officiated by WKF A-Grade Referee Hanshi Paramjit Singh, ensuring fair play throughout the tournament. And let’s not forget about the prize distribution ceremony, where community leaders and social workers came together to celebrate the winners.
