Hey there Pune peeps! The Inter-School ‘Manache Shlok’ Recitation Contest 2025 was a hit, with 110 students taking home prizes for their amazing recitations. The event, put together by the Samarth Bharat Abhiyan and the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, saw a whopping 4,500 students from 28 different schools in the city showing off their skills.

Out of those thousands of students, 680 made it to the final round, where they competed in categories ranging from nursery all the way up to Std X. The Chief Guest, Gita Dharma Mandal President Dr Mukund Datar, was in attendance to celebrate the winners.

Other key figures at the ceremony included Dr Rajeev Nagarkar from Samarth Bharat Abhiyan, Sanjeev Javale from the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, and of course, a whole bunch of proud parents and students. The event was hosted by Yogita Todkar, who kept the energy high throughout the prize distribution ceremony.
