He also highlighted the global reach of the Marathi language, sharing his experience of meeting Marathi speakers in Davos. Fadnavis reminisced on his famous phrase, “Mi Punha Yein,” which has transformed from mockery to a symbol of commitment.
Looking towards the future, Fadnavis proposed integrating Marathi literature with artificial intelligence to make the language more accessible to future generations. The conference also honored Madhu Mangesh Karnik, a veteran Marathi writer, for his contributions to Marathi literature.
The event aims to facilitate global discussions on Marathi culture and language, running until February 2nd. Fadnavis encouraged active participation and playfully reiterated his famous phrase, “Mi Punha Yein, Mi Punha Yeil,” urging attendees to return for future conferences.
