Dr. Ravi Pandit, Treasurer of PIC, even dubbed the new campus as PIC 2.0, with a focus on being a ‘hotbed of new thinking’. They’re all about churning out policy papers and practical solutions that can actually be put into action. They’re even diving into environmental sustainability with a study on electric vehicles to help Maharashtra expand the EV ecosystem.
The new PIC campus is set to be a hub for all things innovative, with a focus on areas like Social Innovation, National Security, and even Art & Culture. Dr. Prashant Girbane, General Secretary of PIC, shared that they want to see public policy recommendations coming from cities like Pune, not just Delhi.
With over 75,000 people attending PIC programs in the past 13 years, it’s clear that they’re making a real impact. And with their seven research verticals covering everything from Energy Environment to Economic Reforms, PIC is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
