Hey there, folks! Here’s some news from Camp that might make you think twice before investing your hard-earned money. Two women from the Lashkar area are in hot water for allegedly defrauding six individuals of a whopping ₹65.50 lakh.

Mehboob Abdul Gani Sheikh, a resident of Lashkar, filed a complaint at the local police station naming Farhanaz Sadiq Qureshi and Hina Sadiq Qureshi as the culprits. These ladies, who hail from Bhimpura in Lashkar, apparently lured the victims into investing in a construction business in exchange for promised land in a new building project.

The victims, including the complainant and his five relatives, fell for the trap and handed over the cash. But when it came time to deliver on their end of the deal, the accused failed to provide the plots as promised. Instead, they issued bouncing cheques when the victims demanded their money back. Sneaky, right?

To make matters worse, when the complainant tried to track down Farhanaz Qureshi, she was nowhere to be found. Looks like she pulled a disappearing act after the scam was uncovered. The police are now on the case, with Sub-Inspector Gujar leading the investigation to bring these fraudsters to justice.

So, the next time someone tries to sweet-talk you into investing in a too-good-to-be-true scheme, remember this cautionary tale from Camp. Stay savvy, folks!
