Hey there, Kondhwa residents! If you’ve been bothered by the deafening noise of high-speed Bullet riders with modified silencers, then you’ll be happy to hear that the Kondhwa police have taken some serious action to address this issue.
In response to numerous complaints from locals, especially elderly residents and students, about the disruptive noise caused by these loud exhaust sounds, the police decided to crack down on the offenders. They seized and destroyed 20 modified silencers that were creating firecracker-like noises in the city and surrounding areas.
With board exams in full swing, the timing couldn’t have been better for the police to step in and put an end to the disturbance. Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Rajkumar Shinde, along with Assistant Commissioner Dhanyakumar Godse and Senior Police Inspector Vinay Patankar, led the operation to enforce noise regulations and penalize the offenders.
This isn’t the first time such action has been taken in the city. Just last week, a similar crackdown was carried out in the Loni Kalbhor area, where illegal silencers emitting noise above the legal limit were confiscated.
It’s important to note that modified silencers are banned for a reason, and the authorities are committed to ensuring that noise pollution is kept in check. So, Bullet riders, take heed – further violations will result in even harsher penalties.
Let’s hope that these efforts help bring some peace and quiet back to the streets of Kondhwa. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing issue!
