1. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Alandi to seek blessings at the Sant Shrestha Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi Mandir.
  2. Fadnavis expressed his commitment to following the path shown by the Warkari Sampraday in Maharashtra.
  3. He was welcomed with the beats of Taal-Mrudung and played the Taal himself while chanting the name of ‘Dnyaneshwar Mauli’.
  4. Fadnavis was accompanied by party leaders including Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol and State Minister Pankaja Munde.
  5. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of cleaning the Indrayani river, stating that work has started and funds are being provided for the purpose.
  6. Fadnavis emphasized the inspiration provided by the Warkari Sampraday and stated that it will continue to inspire the State in the future.
  7. He mentioned that the cleaning of the river will be a long-term process due to sewage and untreated effluents from industries flowing into it.
  8. The Chief Minister assured that the work on cleaning the river will be taken up on a war footing to ensure its preservation.
