Hey there! Some shocking news coming in from Khadki today. A man has been arrested for conning three people out of a whopping Rs 29.1 lakh by promising them jobs in the army. Can you believe it?

So, here’s what went down: a guy named Sandeep Valwant Gurav, who claimed to be a retired army man, convinced a man named Satapa Ramchandra Wagre to pay him to secure army jobs for Wagre’s family members. Wagre shelled out Rs 29.1 lakh to Gurav, who then gave them fake appointment letters and identity cards.

But wait, there’s more. When Wagre and his family demanded the promised jobs, Gurav only returned a fraction of the money and even accused one of them of kidnapping. Talk about a messy situation!

Thankfully, the Military Intelligence unit of the Army’s Southern Command and Pune police were on the case. They kept Gurav under surveillance and finally nabbed him at the Military Hospital in Khadki. Gurav is now facing charges of fraud, forgery, and producing fake documents.

And get this – turns out Gurav was actually dismissed from the army for being a deserter for more than seven years. What a twist!

Stay tuned for more updates on this wild story. And remember, always be cautious of promises that sound too good to be true. Stay safe, folks!
