Pune’s public transport network is about to get a major upgrade with the introduction of a new feeder bus service by the Pune Metro Rail Project and PMPML. Starting on June 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM, this service will make it easier for commuters traveling from Ramwadi Metro Station to popular destinations like WTC, Gera Commerzone Junction, and Eon IT Park along the Kharadi route.

The launch event for this new service will take place at the main entrance of Eon IT Park Phase 1, emphasizing the importance of improving last-mile connectivity in Pune. The goal is to provide seamless travel options for passengers heading to key business and IT hubs in the city.

The Integrated Feeder Bus Service is set to benefit a wide range of commuters, offering a convenient and reliable mode of transport with modern amenities onboard. By working in conjunction with the Pune Metro system, these buses aim to encourage more people to opt for public transportation, ultimately reducing traffic congestion in the city.

This initiative is in line with Pune’s efforts to enhance urban mobility and promote sustainable urban development. By focusing on accessibility and connectivity, the feeder bus service is a step towards making Pune a more efficient and interconnected city for residents, students, and professionals alike.
