Three new Metro routes are in the works, including Vanaz to Chandni Chowk, Ramwadi to Wagholi, and Hadapsar to Loni Kalbhor. And that’s not all – there are plans for extensions from Hadapsar to Saswad Road, PCMC-Nigdi, and Swargate-Katraj.
Officials from Maha Metro are feeling optimistic about getting the green light from the Centre, which will help speed up the implementation of these projects. And with work already underway on some of the extensions, it looks like Pune’s public transport system is in for some major improvements.
