Good news for Pune metro commuters! Five new entrances have been opened at various metro stations to make it easier for passengers to enter. The Pune Municipal Corporation main building, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden, Deccan Gymkhana, Kalyani Nagar, and Bopodi now have new entrances for convenient access.
The Pune Municipal Corporation main building metro station’s new entrance is located by the river, providing a pedestrian bridge for passengers to walk on without having to cross a busy road. The Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Deccan Gymkhana metro stations have new entrances on the opposite side of Jangli Maharaj Road, making it easier for passengers to enter without crossing the road.
Passengers using the Bopodi and Kalyani Nagar metro stations can now enter through new gates, allowing for safe and easy access without the hassle of crossing roads. This move is also expected to reduce crowding at the existing entrances, providing a smoother experience for commuters.
