Vadgaonsheri, a bustling area in Pune, is set to undergo a major transformation thanks to MLA Sunil Tingre’s ambitious plans. Tingre, who represents the Vadgaon Sheri Assembly Constituency and is a part of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-Ajit Pawar Group), has announced his goal to make the Pune-Nagar Road completely signal-free from Yerwada to Kharadi.

During a recent two-wheeler rally in Vadgaonsheri as part of his election campaign, Tingre highlighted the pressing issue of traffic congestion along this crucial road. He acknowledged that the current BRT route has only worsened the situation, leading to more accidents and inconvenience for locals.

To address these challenges, Tingre has already kickstarted several projects in collaboration with the Pune Municipal Corporation and local police. The construction of the BRT route from Yerwada to Somnath Nagar is already underway, along with a double-decker flyover from Shirur to Wagholi that will extend to Ramwadi with support from the Central Government.

With these developments in place, Tingre is confident that Vadgaonsheri will soon boast a 100% signal-free Nagar Road, easing traffic woes and enhancing connectivity for residents, businesses, and industries in the area.

The rally where Tingre made this announcement was attended by a host of prominent figures, including former Corporator Yogesh Mulik, Sunita Galande, and other members of the Mahayuti alliance, signaling strong support for Tingre’s vision for Vadgaonsheri’s future.
