- PMC has made progress in dismantling a bridge and submitting a new flyover design to the Railways for approval. Initially, the Railways suggested avoiding central pillars under the bridge, but a design change was made to use the "Open Web Girder" method instead of the "Bow String Girder" method.
- The new flyover will span 54 meters and is being constructed according to railway administration guidelines. Demolition work is set to begin on Monday, with the Railways providing a 30-day block for the project.
- Residents living in slum settlements near the flyover will be relocated to Hadapsar, with around 60 slum dwellers set to be rehabilitated in the area. The remaining 40-50 residents will be given a week to vacate, with forced relocation being considered if resistance occurs, according to PMC Additional Commissioner Prithviraj B.P. and Chief Engineer of the Projects Department Yuvraj Deshmukh.
