The Pune Municipal Corporation is all set to host the 30th Fort Competition and Exhibition at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Udyan from October 28 to November 6, 2024. This annual event, which started in 1992, aims to encourage young students to learn about the rich history of forts and to showcase their creativity.

This year, 49 participants will be competing in three categories, with expert judges evaluating their fort replicas. The winners will receive cash prizes, with the Best Fort Award being the highest at ₹7,001.

Participants have created replicas of various historic forts, such as Janjira, Raigad, and Sinhagad, for the competition. The exhibition will also include informative materials about the forts and their historical significance, as well as maps for visitors to explore.
