  3. The training initiative comes as a response to the tragic BEST bus accident in Kurla, which resulted in seven fatalities and multiple injuries. Complaints regarding drivers using phones while driving, speeding, and disobeying traffic signals have underscored the need for enhanced training and supervision.
  4. Approximately 3,000 PMPML drivers are expected to benefit from the training sessions. The aim of this initiative is to reduce traffic violations and enhance road safety in Pune.
