The quiet neighborhood of Sahakar Nagar in Pune was rocked by a tragic incident involving the suicide of a 15-year-old boy. The young boy reportedly faced sexual assault and other disturbing acts, which ultimately led to his decision to end his own life. The Pune Police have swiftly taken action by arresting a 26-year-old man from Dhankawadi in connection with the case.
The victim’s father has filed a complaint with the police, sparking an investigation into the harrowing events that led to his son’s death. It has been revealed that the accused and the deceased were known to each other, with the accused luring the boy to the Taljai Hills area under false pretenses.
There, the accused committed unspeakable acts against the boy, including taking explicit photos and using them to blackmail him. The boy eventually succumbed to the pressure and threats, taking his own life by hanging himself on 15th November. The father’s report to the Sahakar Nagar Police Station prompted a thorough investigation, which uncovered the extent of the accused’s manipulation and coercion of the young victim.
The accused has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) of 2012, as well as for abetment of suicide. Assistant Police Inspector Pawar is leading the investigation into this tragic case, ensuring that justice is served for the innocent boy who lost his life in such a horrific manner.
