Hey there, folks! Big news coming out of Kondhwa today as the Pune City Police Crime Branch’s Anti-Narcotics Cell has made a major bust. Two individuals, Zaheer alias Saad Gani Khan and Adnan Shabir Shaikh, both residents of Kondhwa, were caught red-handed trying to sell mephedrone drugs.
The police team, led by Police Inspector Sudarshan Gaikwad, received a tip-off and quickly sprang into action. They nabbed Khan and Shaikh in front of the Opel Falak Society and found a whopping 63 grams of mephedrone in their possession, valued at a staggering Rs. 14 lakhs.
This operation wouldn’t have been possible without the coordination and hard work of the entire team, including API Nitinkumar Naik, PSI Digambar Chavan, and a whole host of dedicated police personnel. Kudos to Additional Commissioner of Police Shailesh Balakwade, DCP Nikhil Pingle, and ACP Rajendra Mulik for overseeing the operation.
It’s reassuring to see law enforcement cracking down on drug-related activities in our neighborhood. Let’s all do our part in keeping our communities safe and drug-free. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
