Hey Pune peeps, did you hear about the young woman who got caught stealing gold and cash from a house in Chandannagar? Yep, Milli Deepak Pawar and her minor sidekick were pretending to beg when they saw an opportunity to snatch some goodies. They made off with 52 tolas of gold ornaments worth ₹35 lakh, ₹26,000 in cash, and a fancy two-wheeler valued at ₹5.5 lakh. Talk about a bold move!
But hey, the Chandannagar Police weren’t having any of it. Constable Mahesh Nanekar and his team tracked down the thieves in Alandi and nabbed them. Turns out, Milli and her accomplice had been up to no good in Khadak and Chandannagar too. Looks like their crime spree has come to an end.
Kudos to Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav and the rest of the team for cracking this case wide open. It just goes to show that crime doesn’t pay, especially when you have a dedicated police force on your tail. Stay safe out there, Pune!
