If you’ve been thinking about snagging a great deal on Levi’s clothing, you might want to think twice before hitting up “Brandkind Clothing” in Erandwane. In a recent crackdown on counterfeit goods, the police raided the shop and seized a whopping 118 fake Levi’s jeans, shirts, and T-shirts, all worth a total of ₹4.39 lakh.

The whole operation was set in motion thanks to Rakesh Sawant, a Levi’s representative who noticed that the shop was selling knockoff Levi’s gear. After his tip-off, the Crime Branch got involved, and the raid was carried out with precision.

The shop owner is now facing some serious legal trouble under the Copyright Act for peddling fake goods. The police officers who led the raid, including Additional Commissioner Shailesh Balakawade and Deputy Commissioner Nikhil Pingle, made sure to leave no stone unturned.

So, if you’re on the hunt for some new Levi’s threads, make sure to stick to the official stores or authorized retailers. Counterfeit goods might seem like a steal, but they can land you in some hot water – just ask the folks over at “Brandkind Clothing” in Erandwane.
