Hey there, folks! Here’s a little scoop for you from Pune – two suspects were recently nabbed in connection with a theft case. Akshay Bodke and Ashish Shinde found themselves in hot water after being arrested by the police.

It all went down on August 27, 2024, during the Dahi Handi festival. The Sahakarnagar police got wind of a man trying to sell stolen remote radio units at a scrap shop near KK Market. Senior Police Inspector Chhagan Kapse wasted no time and sent a team led by Assistant Police Inspector Sagar Patil to catch the suspect, who turned out to be Dilshad Mohammad Rafique.

Rafique spilled the beans during questioning, admitting that he, Bodke, and Shinde were in cahoots for the crime. The stolen goods, worth a whopping ₹5,70,000, were recovered from Rafique, who now finds himself behind bars as the investigation continues.

Kudos to the police team, including API Sagar Patil, API Bapu Khutwad, and a bunch of officers, for their swift action. With the likes of Additional Police Commissioner Pravin Kumar Patil and Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartana Patil overseeing the operation, justice was swiftly served in Pune. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
