The event, organized by Team SymX in partnership with Pune Security Professionals (PSP) and ASIS Pune Chapter, also featured Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (Retd.) and Pune Chief Fire Officer Devendra Potphode.

With Pune’s population exceeding 8 million, Commissioner Kumar highlighted the importance of citizens staying vigilant and reporting suspicious activities. He encouraged the use of modern security technologies, such as CCTV systems, to create a safer city environment.

Devendra Potphode expressed gratitude for the recognition of security personnel, acknowledging the challenges they face in densely populated areas. Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (Retd.) emphasized the connection between internal and external security for national security, urging the younger generation to tackle modern security challenges innovatively.

The ceremony honored police, traffic police, and fire brigade personnel for their exemplary service, as well as institutions and individuals setting high safety standards in various sectors. Special awards were given to those who have made significant contributions to security, including the innovative security technology team of the year at CBRE.

Outstanding individuals were also recognized, with awards such as the “Alert Citizen of the Year” and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” presented to Colonel Sandeep Sudan. The event, hosted by Kashyata Bhatia, celebrated excellence in safety, security, and public service, leaving a positive mark on the community.
