Pune is in the news once again as the Police Commissioner, Amitesh Kumar, announced a major development in the Porsche accident case in Kalyaninagar. The case will be taken to a fast-track court for speedy justice.

The Yerwada police station has uncovered more details related to the original Porsche accident. Additional cases have been registered, including tampering of blood samples of a minor, destruction of evidence, and pressuring the driver to give a false statement. A 900-page charge sheet has been filed against seven accused for altering blood samples and destroying evidence.

The charge sheet, submitted by the Pune Police’s crime branch, contains crucial evidence like statements from fifty witnesses, analysis of mobile phones, CCTV footage, and a report from the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory. Commissioner Kumar stressed the importance of a quick trial to ensure justice is served promptly.

The tragic incident occurred on May 19 at 2:30 am when a speeding Porsche driven by a minor collided with a motorcycle in Kalyani Nagar, resulting in the deaths of IT professionals Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhiya. Stay tuned for more updates on this case as it unfolds.
