Hey there, folks of Loni Kalbhor! If you’ve been annoyed by the loud revving and firecracker-like sounds of modified Bullet motorcycles in your area, you’ll be glad to hear that the Pune Police have taken action.
In a recent crackdown, 22 modified Bullets with altered silencers or missing number plates were seized by a team of officers and constables. These law enforcement officials weren’t messing around – they removed the modified silencers and slapped fines totalling Rs 25,000 on the offenders.
But don’t worry, justice was served with a side of responsibility. The vehicles were only released to their owners after the original silencers were reinstalled and proper number plates were affixed. Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Panhale was on the scene to ensure everything went smoothly.
This operation is all part of the police department’s efforts to tackle noise pollution and make sure everyone is following the rules of the road. So next time you hear a loud motorcycle zooming by, just remember – the Pune Police are on it.
