Hey Pune peeps, looks like the Crime Branch had quite the bust in Shukrawar Peth recently! They raided a shop and found a whopping 175 fake watches with a well-known brand name on them. The shop owner, Bharat Prajapati, is now facing some serious legal trouble for copyright infringement.

The raid went down at Chamunda Novelties in Shahabiya Society, and it was all thanks to a tip-off about these bogus watches being sold. The Crime Branch Unit 5 swooped in and seized all 175 of them during the operation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Nikhil Pingale and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime 2) Rajendra Mulik were the brains behind the operation, with Senior Police Inspector Yuvraj Hande leading the charge. It just goes to show that the long arm of the law will catch up with you if you try to pull a fast one in Pune!
