- The ATMS project, completed in February 2024 at a cost of ₹102 crore, has faced some challenges since the Pune Smart City Development Company Limited (PSCDCL) was dissolved by the central government in June 2023. Now, the PMC has taken over the project and is responsible for operating and maintaining the ATMS for the next five years.
- Manisha Shekatkar, Superintendent Engineer of the PMC Electrical Department, addressed concerns raised by the police regarding the project. She emphasized the need for a study on the project’s utility and clarified that the PMC has not yet made any payments to the company involved in the project. The PSCDCL was responsible for the capital expenditure, while the PMC is now in charge of the operation and maintenance costs.
