Hey Pune peeps, get ready for a spiritual extravaganza as Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhis are making their way to Pune City Police jurisdiction starting from June 30th. The warkaris will be singing, dancing, and chanting their way through the city, and the Pune Police will be out in full force to make sure everything goes smoothly.

On June 30th, Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s Palkhi will be entering via Alandi Road and making its way to Bhawani Peth covering a total distance of 16 km. At the same time, Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj’s Palkhi will be entering through Khadki and heading to Nana Peth, covering a route of 11 km. Both palanquins will be staying in Pune on July 1st.

On July 2nd, Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s Palkhi will be heading towards Hadapsar and then to Saswad, covering a distance of 21 km. Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj’s Palkhi will also be on the move, heading to Loni Kalbhor after a stop at Hadapsar, covering a route of 16 km.

Finally, on July 3rd, Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj’s Palkhi will be making its way from Kunjarwadi to Yawat, covering a distance of 12 km. Citizens can track the Palkhis’ locations through the Pune City Police website and social media platforms.

Road closures and traffic diversions will be in place during the Palkhi processions, with rest areas and police help centers set up along the route. Make sure to plan your journeys accordingly and follow the alternative routes provided to avoid any disruptions.
