In a recent incident, two minor girls were reported missing after not attending school, prompting their mothers to seek help from the police.
Thanks to the quick thinking and coordinated efforts of multiple police teams, the girls were located within an hour of the initial complaint. Utilizing the mobile phone of one of the girls, the police were able to track their location to Kasba Peth in Pune.
With the assistance of local rickshaw drivers, Santosh Laxman Lokhande and Krishna Nagpure, the police were able to safely retrieve the girls and reunite them with their families. The rickshaw drivers were recognized for their invaluable help by ACP Pranjali Sonawane and Senior Police Inspector Seema Dhakne.
