The Pune Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell has been on a roll, making three successful busts in the past two days. In the latest operation, they seized a whopping 83 grams of mephedrone (MD) worth Rs 19.17 lakh in Dhanori. Kumel Mohammad Tamboli, a 28-year-old local, was arrested in connection with this case.
Yesterday, the police nabbed Saifan alias Shafiq Ismail Shaikh in Pune Market Yard with 350 grams of marijuana valued at Rs 7,000. And in another operation, Kiran Bhausaheb Tujare was caught with 30.35 grams of MD drugs worth Rs 6.27 lakh in Wagholi.
These successful operations were all thanks to the hard work and dedication of Police Constables Chetan Gaikwad, Azim Shaikh, and Sandeep Shirke. Kudos to the Pune Police for their efforts in keeping the city safe from the clutches of drug trafficking.
