Hey there, folks! Another day, another shocking story coming out of Pune. A Police Sub-Inspector named Kashinath Ubhe has found himself in hot water after allegedly duping and extorting a senior citizen in the city.

Reports suggest that Ubhe was involved in a fraudulent scheme with three women, where they targeted a senior citizen in the Kothrud area. The women reportedly lured the elderly man to a hotel on Laxmi Road, where they threatened him with a false rape case unless he paid them five lakh rupees.

The incident was brought to light when a crime was registered at the Vishrambaug Police Station on 30th July. Following an investigation, Ubhe was suspended and now faces termination from the police force by Pune City Commissioner of Police, Amitesh Kumar.

It’s a shame to see someone with legal knowledge engaging in such anti-social and irresponsible behavior. Let’s hope this serves as a warning to others who may be tempted to abuse their power for personal gain.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story. Remember, crime doesn’t pay, folks!
