  3. Upon joining as a probationary IAS officer, Khedkar raised eyebrows by using a Maharashtra Government plate on her personal car and illegally installing an amber lamp.
  4. The police have revealed that Khedkar’s car has accumulated traffic fines amounting to Rs 21,000, leading to an interrogation.
  5. IAS officers are required to undergo a two-year probationary period, during which they familiarize themselves with district administration procedures and work in various departments.
  6. Despite this, Khedkar allegedly demanded a car, bungalow, office, and peon before completing her probation period, leading to her transfer to Washim.
  7. Khedkar’s behavior has raised concerns among her seniors, who attempted to dissuade her from making unreasonable demands.
  8. Ultimately, the District Collector intervened and reported the situation to senior officials at the Secretariat, resulting in Khedkar’s transfer.
