The Pune City Police is taking a high-tech approach to gather evidence for the trial of a tragic accident that occurred on May 19 in Kalyani Nagar. A 17-year-old boy, who was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol, crashed his Porsche into a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of two IT engineers, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta.

To support their case, the police are working with two firms from Hyderabad and Bangalore to create a simulated model of the accident using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. This model will help recreate the scenario and provide valuable technical evidence during the trial.

According to a senior police officer, AI technologies play a crucial role in enhancing pattern recognition, visual analysis, and crime scene reconstruction accuracy. By utilizing these tools, the police hope to present a detailed and accurate representation of the incident in court.

The development of this simulated model is seen as a significant step in modernizing the investigative process and utilizing cutting-edge technology to ensure justice is served. Stay tuned for more updates on this story as it unfolds.
