Hey there, folks! Looks like the Pune Police’s Anti Narcotics Cell has been busy cracking down on illegal substances. In a recent operation, they managed to seize a whopping 1 kg 790 grams of Ganja (Marijuana) and 2 kg 140 grams of Charas (Hashish) worth a jaw-dropping Rs 43.87 Lakh.

The man behind this illegal stash is none other than Arun Ashok Arora, a 50-year-old resident of Katraj. He has been arrested in connection with the case, and a case has been registered at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985.

The Pune Police’s Assistant Police Inspector Nitin Kumar Naik and his team were on patrol when they received a tip-off from Police Constable Yogesh Mandhare. Thanks to this information, Arora was nabbed red-handed. The investigation is now being taken forward by Assistant Police Inspector Aniket Pote.

The operation was carried out under the watchful eye of senior officials, with a team comprising of Police Constables Mandhare, Prashant Bomadandi, Nitin Jagadale, Azad Patil, Sandeep Jadhav, Disha Khevalkar, and Ravindra Rokade.

It looks like the Pune Police is not messing around when it comes to keeping the city safe from illegal substances. Kudos to them for their swift action and dedication to enforcing the law!
