Hey Pune peeps, it’s been a wet and wild day in the city today! The rains have caused quite a few disruptions, with the fire brigade being kept on their toes with reports of fallen trees and even a drowning incident.

Let’s break it down for you:

1. Trees have been falling left and right, with reports coming in from all over the city. From Kothrud to Koregaon Park, Hadapsar to Pashan, it seems like no area has been spared from the wrath of the monsoon.

2. The fire brigade received a distressing report of a woman drowning in the lake at Gujarwadi, Khopde Nagar. Search operations are currently underway to locate her.

3. And let’s not forget about the rainfall numbers! Lonavala is leading the pack with a whopping 48.5mm of rain, followed by Wadgaonsheri, Talegaon, and Girivan. Looks like Mother Nature is really letting loose today.

So, stay safe out there Puneites, and remember to stay indoors if you can. The monsoon is here, and it’s making its presence known!
