Hey there, folks in Maharashtra are experiencing some crazy weather patterns lately! It’s like Mother Nature can’t make up her mind. Up in northern parts like Jalgaon and Nashik, it’s been freezing cold, with temperatures dropping as low as 8°C. But down south, it’s a bit warmer and more bearable.
In Jalgaon, the temperature went from a bone-chilling 8°C to a slightly less freezing 10.2°C in just one day. Nashik saw a similar trend, with temperatures going from 9.4°C to 10.4°C in a day. And in Dab village in Nandurbar district, people were even seeing frost-like formations on their cars – pretty unusual for that area!
Pune has been on a temperature rollercoaster too. One day it’s 9.5°C, then it shoots up to 22.5°C, only to drop back down to 12°C a few days later. And Niphad hit a low of 7°C recently – brrr!
Experts are saying all this crazy weather is due to different atmospheric conditions and where you are geographically. The India Meteorological Department in Pune is predicting that temperatures will go up a bit after December 13-14 because of some winds coming in from the east. But don’t get too comfy – they’re saying temperatures could drop again later in the month.
It seems like northern Maharashtra is getting hit the hardest by these cold winds, while central and southern areas are getting a bit of a break. But who knows what’s in store for us next? The IMD is telling everyone to be ready for more temperature drops as things keep changing.
So grab your sweaters and hot cocoa, folks – it looks like winter is here to stay for a while longer! Stay warm out there.
