The truck, driven by a man named Ravi Arjun Holkar from Kasurdi, Daund, was stopped on the Daund-Ahilyanagar Road following a tip-off from an anonymous caller. The Detection Branch of the Daund Police Station sprang into action and seized the truck, along with a whopping 141 bags of banned gutkha. The total value of the seized items? A staggering ₹64,99,800!
The police force, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Bapurao Dadas, conducted the operation with precision. Assistant Police Inspector Nagnath Patil led the team that included several dedicated officers and constables. It’s definitely a job well done by our law enforcement officers!
