The State Bank of India Pensioners’ Association in Pune recently celebrated its golden jubilee anniversary with a grand event at Mahalaxmi Lawns. The event was attended by top officials from the State Bank of India, including Deputy Managing Director Binodkumar Mishra and Chief General Manager Arvind Kumar Singh.

During his speech, Mishra emphasized the crucial role that the banking sector, particularly the State Bank of India, will play in achieving India’s goal of becoming a developed nation in the next five years. He also highlighted the significant contributions of retired employees to the bank’s success and urged them to prioritize their health and take advantage of the bank’s insurance and healthcare facilities.

Former General Secretary Vilas Gandhe was honored with the ‘L. N. Pablakar Memorial Gold Medal’ at the event, which was also attended by other dignitaries such as Harishkumar Rajpal, Amit Jog, Satishkumar, Pankajkumar Barnwal, G. K. Gandhi, and D. K. Basu.
