Our very own Pune District Collector Suhas Diwase has given the green light for schools to remain open tomorrow, despite the heavy rains that hit the city and Pimpri Chinchwad on Sunday. The situation in the ghat areas and the city is currently under control, so no need to worry about missing out on classes.
Speaking of heavy rains, the ghat areas experienced intense rainfall which caused water discharge from various dams. This led to flooding in some low-lying areas along river banks, so be cautious if you’re in those areas.
And for all you weather enthusiasts out there, the IMD has forecasted a cloudy sky with light to moderate rain today. So, don’t forget your umbrellas and raincoats before heading out!
