Hey there, music lovers! The famous singer Padma Shri Kailash Kher recently performed the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the first Ganpati mandal in Hindustan, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust in Pune. The installation of the Ganesh idol was done in a grand ceremony with thousands of devotees in attendance.

The day started with a grand procession led by Dhol-Tasha Pathaks, with the idol being brought to the Varad Vighneshwar Wada amidst chants and cheers. Trust Celebration Chief Punit Balan and Janhavi Dhariwal Balan performed the ‘Aarti’ to kick off the festivities.

One unique aspect of this year’s celebration was the absence of the traditional bullock-pulled chariot for the idol. Instead, the chariot was pulled by mandal office-bearers, workers, and the Balans, adding a new twist to the age-old tradition.

After the procession passed through various streets in Pune, the idol was finally installed by Kailash Kher, who also treated the devotees to a few of his popular songs. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and joy as the celebrations continued.

Both Punit Balan and Kailash Kher expressed their gratitude and excitement for being part of this auspicious occasion, with Kher offering prayers for the well-being of the country and its people.

It’s wonderful to see such vibrant and traditional celebrations taking place in our modern world. Here’s to more joyous occasions and spiritual experiences in the future!
