In an incredible display of talent and determination, Pune girl Mruganyani Santosh Shinde has brought home a bronze medal for India at the Global Skate Championship 2024 in Montesilvano, Italy. Her exceptional performance as a jammer played a pivotal role in the team’s success, particularly in the semifinal match against China where she led the team to victory with a final score of 127-39.

Mruganyani, hailing from Tadval, Koregaon in the Satara district and currently residing in Bhugaon, Pune, discovered her passion for skating at Mahesh Balbhavan Skating Academy in Pune during her sixth-grade years. Her journey to success has been marked by consistent national team selections, numerous medals, and a reputation as one of the fastest jammers in the competition.

Balancing academics and sports, the final year B.Com student at BMCC is also pursuing a Company Secretary (CS) degree. Her dedication and hard work have not only earned her admiration locally but also on a national and international level, serving as an inspiration to aspiring young athletes.
