Hey there, folks! Big news in the world of social media influencers today as popular cleric and influencer Abdul Rashid Kalandar Khan, also known as Miftahi, has been granted anticipatory bail in a whopping Rs 1.16 crore cheating case. The case, registered under the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (MPID) Act, has certainly caught the attention of many.

The Additional Sessions Judge A.S. Waghmare has set some strict conditions for Miftahi to adhere to in order to secure his release on bail. He must deposit Rs 30 lakh upfront and then pay off the remaining amount within four months in equal installments. Seems like a pretty hefty sum, but Miftahi’s got a plan to make it work.

The court’s order, dated 11th December, highlighted the importance of protecting the interests of depositors under the MPID Act. The judge made it clear that the mere conviction of the accused is not enough to fulfill the purpose of the Act. But hey, Miftahi seems ready to step up to the plate and do right by the depositors.

This isn’t Miftahi’s first rodeo in the legal arena. Just a few months ago, his anticipatory bail plea was dismissed by the Bombay High Court in the same case involving Saad Motors. The accusations of fraud and cheating under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the MPID Act have certainly put Miftahi in hot water.

Joining Miftahi in this legal battle are his younger brother Rafique Qalandar Khan, Sanobar alias Sauda Rafique Khan, and Isa Rafique Khan. All residents of Grace Residency in Bhagyodaya Nagar, Kondhwa Khurd, these individuals are facing some serious allegations.

The primary complainant, Nisar Babulal Shaikh, along with several others, have accused Miftahi and his associates of running a scam promising hefty monthly returns on investments in a luxury car business. Looks like things may have taken a sour turn for these investors.

So, as the legal drama unfolds, we’ll have to wait and see how Miftahi and his crew navigate through these troubled waters. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
