Today in Pune, a shocking incident has left residents outraged. A 65-year-old woman named Padmini Peter Stump has filed a complaint with the Swargate Police Station against a Mercedes-Benz car driver who allegedly ran over and killed her dog.
The accused, identified as Sachin Katariya, reportedly has an office in Poornima Tower at Swargate. The incident occurred at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday in front of Eva’s Grace Hotel near Poornima Tower. According to the police complaint, Katariya intentionally drove his car over the dog belonging to Arun Pawar.
As a result of the complaint, the police have registered a case against Katariya under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Assistant Police Inspector Rahul Kolambikar is currently investigating the matter.
