The complaint was filed by Nisar Babulal Sheikh, a resident of Hadapsar, and it has led to an FIR being registered at Kondhwa Police Station. The accused include Rafiq Qalandar Khan, Sanobar alias Sauda Rafiq Khan, Isa Rafiq Khan, and TikTok Maulana alias Abdul Rasheed alias Miftahi Qalandar Khan, all from Kondhwa Khurd. These shady dealings have been going on since 2020.
Saad Motors reportedly enticed investors with promises of high monthly returns on investments in their car-buying and selling business. The complainant, along with eight others, collectively invested over Rs. 1 crore. However, the accused failed to deliver on their promises, leaving the victims high and dry.
Now, the victims have turned to the police for help, and a case has been registered under the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (MPID) Act. Police Inspector Patil is on the case and leading the investigation.
