- The MoU for the program was signed by SPPU and Temple Connect, attended by Dr. Suresh Gosavi, Dr. Suresh Haware, and Giresh Kulkarni.
- The curriculum includes classroom training, internships at temples, and focuses on administration, sustainability, technology integration, community engagement, and spiritual leadership.
- The program is expected to provide career opportunities in temple management, heritage conservation, and religious tourism.
- Plans for expansion include certificate courses, a one-year diploma, and a two-year MBA in Temple Management.
- Eligibility criteria include a graduate degree and an interest in temple administration or related fields, with scholarships available for deserving candidates.
- The program is supported by a committee of experts, including Dr. Suresh Haware, Giresh Kulkarni, MLC Prasad Lad, Dr. Uday Salunkhe, and senior academicians.
- The initiative builds on the success of Temple Connect’s International Temples Convention & Expo (ITCX) and collaborations with institutions like the University of Mumbai and Welingkar Institute.
