Hey Pune folks! Get ready to experience a vibrant showcase of tribal traditions at the upcoming grand procession organized by 11 Ganesh mandals in Dhankawadi. Leaders such as Santosh Dhanawade, Abhishek Tapkir, and Vijay Kshirsagar recently announced this exciting event during a press conference.

The procession, set to attract a crowd of 8,000 to 10,000 participants, will kick off at Gulabnagar and wind its way through various locations including Dhankawadi village and Keshav Complex before wrapping up at Mohan Nagar. Expect to see cultural performances, tribal dances, and traditional attire on display, providing a unique insight into the tribal way of life.

This initiative is a collaborative effort to unite Ganesh mandals across the city and create a lasting impact. Last year’s procession laid the groundwork for this year’s larger event, thanks to the hard work of leaders like Pratik Kumbhar, Pravin Anpat, and Chinmay Waghokar. Let’s come together as a community and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our tribal traditions!

Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience, curated by the Universal Tribal Institute and supported by dedicated individuals like Aniruddha Yevale, Sunil Pissal, and Uday Jagtap. Mark your calendars and join us for a day filled with cultural immersion and celebration. See you there!
